Beginning to Listen - A Journey of Interoception & Yin Yoga

Workshop with Elena Pavlidou-Reisig

Saturday 25/4/26, 18:00 – 20:00 (arrival from 17:45)

Location: Eutopia Yoga & Tai Chi Center, Mytilene, Kioutachias 25

In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, this workshop invites you to turn inward — to reconnect with the quiet intelligence of your body. “Beginning to Listen” is an introductory journey into interoception: the ability to sense, understand, and respond to the internal signals of your body. It is a gentle yet powerful first step toward building a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself. Through a combination of yin Yoga, somatic movement, and conscious breathing, we create a safe and supportive space where the body can begin to soften, release, and express. Rather than forcing or fixing, we practice allowing:
- allowing sensations to arise
- allowing the body to guide movement
- allowing areas of tension, discomfort, or stagnation to surface and shift

As the body begins to feel safe, the nervous system gradually downregulates. The parasympathetic state becomes more accessible. From this place, the body can begin to reset. It is here that something essential happens: We pause. We listen.
We begin to notice the subtle cues, responses, and information that the body is constantly offering — signals that are often overlooked in the pace of daily life. This workshop is not about performance or flexibility. It is about cultivating awareness, presence, and inner dialogue.

About Elena

Elena’s work is a subtle dialogue between body, breath, and awareness—where somatic therapy, trauma-informed Yoga, and meditative movement converge. She creates spaces of safety and presence, guiding others back to the quiet intelligence of the body.
With a foundation in classical ballet and modern dance, movement has shaped her path from an early age. Yoga entered her life as a grounding force offering calm and resilience alongside her work as an architect and eventually leading her to teach and share this work.
Her approach is gentle, intuitive, and rooted in nervous system regulation and interoception, supporting those navigating stress, anxiety, or disconnection.

Trained in multiple Yoga styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Hot Yoga), somatic practices, breathwork, meditation and energy work as well as anatomy and Ayurveda, Elena brings depth and precision to her teaching, while continuing her work as an architect, and doctoral researcher.
With over a decade of teaching experience, she now teaches workshops and retreats in Greece, Germany and online, co-leading Malu Holistics since 2017 with Matthew Garuda Hallam.
