Certified Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga Teacher & Thai Massage Therapist

I was born in Athens in 1990. In 2008, alongside my studies at the Fine Arts University of Ioannina, I began my training in the art of traditional Wushu Kung Fu. After years of training in the Nan Shaolin Choi Mok Pai system under the guidance of Christos Stavropoulos, I achieved the degree of black belt and the diploma of 2nd Duan, certified by the Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Federation.

At the same time, in 2011, I began studying the traditional Chen style of Tai Chi Quan, practicing Qi Gong, and participating in Yoga practices, realizing that this was exactly what I needed for balance.

In 2016, I completed my first Yoga Teacher Training Course in Hatha Yoga under the guidance of Christos Charikiopoulos and began teaching. I later attended various advanced seminars and completed two additional Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Greece and India, deepening my understanding of different Yoga styles as well as therapeutic approaches.

In 2018, I traveled to China, where I studied at the Huang Hua Tai Chi Academy, learning the arts of Qi Gong and Tai Chi Quan (Yang and Chen styles) under Master Huang Hua, and received my Instructor Diploma. Upon returning, I began teaching Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes daily, focusing on promoting health and well-being.

Seeking new horizons, integrated knowledge, and personal growth, I completed the Thai Massage Therapy Training Program at the ITM School in Thailand, where I learned the traditional manual therapy and energetic healing art of Thailand.

Since 2023, I began my studies at the Academy of Ancient Greek and Traditional Chinese Medicine, completing training in Tuina Chinese massage, cupping therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and a 3-year diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

In recent years, I have been living in the city of Mytilene, where, together with my wife (also a Yoga teacher), we founded Eutopia Yoga & Tai Chi Center, a space dedicated to spreading the holistic arts of the East to the West.

Also, at 2025, I have begun teaching at the Academy of Ancient Greek and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Athens, offering a Qi Gong Teacher Training Program & Introduction to Tai Chi. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this program combines theoretical education and practical training in ancient and contemporary recognized forms and techniques, with the aim of promoting health and well-being.

Certified Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist

Katia was born in 1991 in Donetsk, and grew up in Greece.
She studied Classical Philology at the University of Ioannina, while, at the same time, she started to learn Yoga by intensively attending the classes of the Yoga Union School.

In 2016 she attended the Yoga Teacher Training Course (200 hours) in Hatha Yoga with Christos Charikiopoulos in Athens. Later on, she completes the Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Course (300 hours) in the city of Rishikesh, India. She has attended educational seminars on Meditation Methods, Kundalini Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Thai Yoga Massage, Acro Yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Chair Yoga. She is a certified Prenatal Yoga teacher by B.earth Yoga.

In 2023-24 she is being educated by YOGA THERAPY GREECE and receives a certificate of 300 Hours Advanced Teacher Training "Adapting Yoga for Everybody".

In 2022 & 2023 she collaborates with the University of the Aegean within the "Erasmus+ Adult Education Strategic Partnership Wiselife: Raising Awareness About Ageism" program during which she leads Chair Yoga classes for people over 65 years old.

In 2018, together with her husband, Thodoris Tagaroulias, Yoga and Tai Chi teacher, they founded Eutopia Yoga & Tai Chi Center, based in the city of Mytilene, to convey these special practices from the tradition of the East to the West so that one, becomes able to attains his/her own eu-topia - place of ideal well-being as an achievable destination! 
Today, Katia lives permanently in the city of Mytilene where she teaches Yoga on a daily basis.
